Robert Lee is the Founder and Chairman of the InterAsia Law Alliance and Group. The InterAsia Law Alliance and Group is an alliance of independent liaison law firms and business services firms in the region. He has been offering legal and business services to clients in Japan, China and Hong Kong for over thirty years. He has concentrated on the general practice of corporate and commercial law in Hong Kong, Japan and China, with significant transactional experience in London, Thailand, Vietnam, Canada and the United States. His clientele comprises individuals and corporations from diverse nationalities.

 

Ian Pereira

Malaysia Office


Ian Pereira is a partner at our Kuala Lumpur office. He has over seventeen years of experience in the area of Insurance, commercial litigation & corporate advisory. Ian is a graduate from Bond University of Australia with an LLB and BCOM (accounting) and is qualified in Malaysia and the Solicitors board of Queensland. His practice focuses on complex insurance disputes and corporate advisory.

 

Kenneth G Pereire

Kenneth Pereire is a director (non-executive) of InterAsia Business Services in Singapore. He is a corporate and commercial lawyer with significant experience in domestic and cross-border legal matters in Asia. He is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore. He has a LLB (Hons) degree and a Bachelor Social Sciences degree (Hons) in Political Science from the National University of Singapore and a Masters in International Political Economy from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Nomura is an experienced business and general administration consultant who has worked with InterAsia's Tokyo office since 2004. A graduate of Aoyama Gakushuin University in Tokyo with a major in Political Science and Law, Mr. Nomura began his career with a large Japanese state-owned nuclear power company, Donen Power Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Development Corporation. After briefly working in computer software for two years, he joined Robert Lee Law Offices in Tokyo in 2004. Gary Shiu

Hong Kong Office*


Mr. Shiu, a partner in the Hong Kong office, has more than twenty years of experience in the areas of corporate finance, securities, investment, intellectual property, insolvency and litigation. Mr. Shiu is a graduate from the City University of Hong Kong with an LL.B. (Honours) and he is qualified in both Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

Athene Law is a commercial and litigation lawyer at Robert Lee Law Offices. She completed her articleship in the Department of Justice and obtained her qualification as a Hong Kong lawyer in 2010. Her past experience includes work in commercial litigation, lending matters, employment contract disputes, joint ventures, winding up and bankruptcy proceedings, matrimonial cases and personal injury, among other areas. Athene obtained her law degree from the Nottingham Law School of the Nottingham Trent University in 2006, her Master of Laws from the City University of Hong Kong in 2007, and her Master of Corporate Governance from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013. She is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Based in Guangzhou, Mr. Law has collaborated with Robert Lee and InterAsia since 2009. With extensive China market entry and growth experience, Mr. Law is the founder of several successful and complementary companies. Mr. Law holds. a B.S. from the University of Alberta (1992). Lin Yingxin

Lin Yingxin is a corporate and commercial lawyer and a Senior Associate at KGP Legal LLC. He graduated from the Singapore Management University School of Law in 2014 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2015. He has worked on numerous local and cross-border transactions and disputes. He has experience handling arbitration cases and litigation in the High Court of Singapore. His practice focuses on general corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, employment law as well as regulatory and compliance matters.
